GIORNATA
is a newspaper project written, edited and published by Sofie Amalie Andersen who works in an expanded sculptural field and nourishes a particular interest in natural materials and historical artistic techniques as much as everyday poetics and DIY culture. Visual gestures deriving herefrom, combined with an experimental and personal attitude towards writing, is the foundation of GIORNATA; an (occasionally shapeshifting) format wherein the artist herself, as well as her readers, are invited to examine their own position, shifting between being the insider and outsider of the surrounding world.
